Even though we decided to take this summer to do new album we have another show we really wanna do too, Venetsialaiset at Kokkola 30th of august. It's almost like having a show at home. We're looking forward to that one, see you all there!

Hey guys,
Apologies for the long silence! After 5 years of intense work with the band we needed to take some time off to work on our personal lives. Now that we've done it, we're back on track with Deep Insigh. We've been keeping ourselves busy making the next album. We have plenty of songs, and now we're going through our options on where and when to record it and with whom. A little patience, please…
We are not planning to start touring untill we finnish the album, but we have a little surprise for you in the near future!

The Friends Project aims to promote the inclusive way of thinking. The project works to have impact on the lives of the people with intellectual disability as well as those without it.
The main goals of the project:
- raise awareness on national friendship programs
- implement and experiment a new support method in Finland
- create experiences and opportunities
- affect in people's attitudes towards intellectual disabilities

April 19th 2007The 69 Eyes shows cancelled!!!
The 69 Eyes have cancelled some shows in Finland and the two shows we were supposed to play with them this friday and saturday are no more. Apparently Jyrki is sick.
We were really looking forward to these shows so we're all down right now. Sometimes life sucks!
Let's hope Jyrki gets better soon!

The biggest rock-channel in Finland, YleX, has added New Day into it's playlist. You may vote it on the "most wanted" list. The new list is revealed every week on Saturday afternoon.

Welldone Agency and Deep Insight have signed a live promotion deal. Welldone is the biggest agency in Finland promoting HIM, The Rasmus, Negative, The 69Eyes, Apocalyptica, Etc.

Biography
Deep Insight was formed in early 2002 by childhood friends Jukka (vocals) and Johannes (guitar). Later on Miska (bass) and Ville (drums) joined the team making it perfect.
Since its birth 3 years ago the band has already played nearly 300 shows in almost 20 countries. Deep Insight´s mix of American rock and emo with Scandinavian influences has been received with great enthusiasm amongst the audience and critics. In the summer 2005 Band´s single Hurricane Season reached number one position in the Finnish official TOP TEN and stayed on the list over two months. The Single as well as their latest album Red Lights White Lines has been picked up well by many European radio stations and MTV. In October Deep Insight toured Europe with platinum-seller The Rasmus. By now the band has gathered large fan base all around Europe. Fansites and forums with dedicated people have been established all over the world.
The first release, Julia ep was a theme record focused around the life and death of Julia a character created by Jukka and Johannes. It gained many good reviews, most of them praising the young band´s promising song writing and Jukka´s exceptional voice.
In 2003 it started to happen for Deep Insight. The band recorded their debut album Ivory Tower at Soundtrack Studios in Helsinki, Finland and Kaj was replaced by Miska on bass. Miska instantly gave a whole new meaning to the saying “ripping the bass”. The album came out in May and the band started their first ever European tour.
The second album “Red Lights, White Lines” was recorded and mixed in June-July 2004 in Facination Street Studio in Örebro, Sweden (Katatonia, Lambretta etc.) under producers Jens Borgen and Jonas Olsson. The album was mastered at cutting room in Stockholm, Sweden by Thomas Eberger (Bo Kaspers Orkester, Nine, Raised First). Red Lights, White Lines was released in Finland and Italy 2004 and later in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and Japan 2005. By the summer 2005 the album was sold out and re-released in the same fall with new cover art work.
The third album One Minute Too Late was released in Finland 18.10.2006. Debute single New Day was relesed 20.9.2006 and on it´s second week went straight number 1 on yleX most wanted.
It’s about time to take our snow shovels and moonboots and throw them back into the closet until next winter, and bring out our speedos and flipflops ‘cause it’s time to welcome the summer!
